This course aims to provide students of the bachelor’s program with tools for writing and presenting a scientific paper. Lectures will focus on the basics of scientific research, with an emphasis on applied microeconomic theory, and will provide an introduction to game theory. Students will then apply the acquired knowledge to write and present a research paper analyzing a real-world strategic environment assigned by the instructor, through the lens of game theory. Necessary formalities of writing a research paper and typesetting using LaTeX will be covered.
